The Cassowary system is designed using X over Y geometry, eliminating the key-hole effect experienced by elevation over azimuth geometry antenna mounts. The Cassowary’s X over Y geometry ensures 100% of the satellite’s pass is utilised for data acquisition, maximising the time on mission for each satellite path.
