A C-Band Block Downconverter is used to convert an incoming C band satellite signal in the range of 3.4-4.2 GHz to L Band frequency block of 950-1750 MHz. The use of a Block Downconverter allows the satellite signal to be distributed by coaxial cable over a much longer distance than when compared to 4 GHz distribution by coax.
Our C Band Downconverter is compatible with our C Band LNA.
For applications that only require the downconversion of a single 36 MHz transponder use an Agilis Frequency Converter.
