Description
The PBI DXP-5800 8 Channel MPEG 4 Encoder is a high density real-time MPEG 4 HD/SD encoder that can support up to eight high definition (HD) A/V signals simultaneously. The PBI DXP-5800 8 Channel MPEG 4 Encoder can accept upto 8 x HDMI or 8 x SDI input ports (optional), the encoded streams can then be re-multiplexed and distributed via GbE IP and ASI outputs.
The PBI DXP-5800 8 Channel MPEG 4 Encoder operates in two TS/IP modes, first is “Full Duplex”, which allows a MPTS or SPTS stream to be outputted via 1 x multicast/unicast stream. The second mode, “Multiple output”, delivers up to 9 streams over IP. There are 8 SPTS and 1 MPTS (from internal reMultiplexer) over the IP with different Unicast or Multicast IP addresses.
The PBI DXP-5800 8 Channel MPEG 4 Encoder can be configured via the front panel, or web management interface, or SNMP based management software from 3rd party. This Encoder family presents brilliant picture quality, high density design, high stability system architecture, and the hot-swappable power supply.
